No, that is not a hint that I'm pregnant. Today I had a great opportunity to spend some one-on-one time with the latest nephew, Braden. Well, almost one-on-one. It was more like one-and-a-half-on-one because I had Sawyer with me. I really enjoyed it and even got a smile from the little guy, which was fun. Sawyer enjoyed going through new toys and crawling on someone else's floor, and also seemed to get a kick out of the bouncy chair Braden was in, which happens to be on loan from Sawyer, who is now WAY too big. That did not stop him from trying to climb into it along with Braden, but hey. It was a neat morning, but it made me feel thankful that God gives at leat nine months between babbies. (Unless you have twins, triplets, or other multiple-lets. I would never make it.) Braden and Sawyer are six months apart, and you would need a lot more arms, I think, to take this on full time! Braden and Sawyer were both good little guys, but at one point, I was holding two crying babies in my arms at the same time, wondering how the heck it was even possible. I do NOT have a picture of that, but wish I did. In any case, Sawyer and I had a great time getting to be with Braden and smelling that new-baby smell again and remembering how it felt to hold a little one in the sling who is not actively trying to escape or bite you on the shoulder. Sawyer is SO not a baby anymore. Sigh. Moms of multiples, especially twins and beyond, I salute you!It only looks like Sawyer is about to smack Braden. He was really going for the side of the bouncy chair, I promise.

And this is when he decided to climb INTO the chair with Braden.

I'd like to think that he was trying to rock Braden gently here. Though really he looks more like Godzilla about to attack a tiny town.
