80s Prom, Pregnant Style

It's always fun to dress up, but a little more challenging when you're almost 6 months pregnant. Thankfully, I found a perfect dress and shoes at Value Village for $8 total, and with the help of my Mom, transformed the back into a corset style so I could head out to the end-of-the-season roller derby party. So fun! I'd always dreamed before doing derby of being rookie of the year, but there was no way with the great talent from this year. (Speed-o, you totally deserved it!) I was super excited to win two awards--Miss Congeniality and the Mommy Dearest Award. And my team mates took away a TON of awards, so all in all, it was a good night!

I think the ruffles and big hair definitely minimize The Beast. Maybe I should dress 80s all the time... Some serious 80s hotness.
