Christmas Comes Early

If you noticed, Christmas decor started going up in September. I swear--a whole section of the Walmart near us was selling stockings and tree stuff and lights right after labor day. Now it's a total frenzy. Even though I think it's silly, I love the Christmas season (except for the mad rush of empty consumerism part) and can't help but get excited when I hear "Silent Night" playing while I'm buying groceries. Seeing the pink singing fake Christmas trees--not so much.

In any case, Rob went out today and bought a Christmas present for Sawyer. His parents let everyone choose gifts for the grandkids, and Rob decided to buy something really fun that I know he and I will use: a bike seat for Saw. As soon as Sawyer got up from his three hour nap today (!!!!), the boys set out for a long bike ride. I went for about a block until my butt started aching.
