You Capture: America

The assignment this week from I Should Be Folding Laundry was America.  And really, we weren't supposed to just do a normal flag picture.  I had all these plans for looking for that perfect non-flag America picture, but then on July 4th I was out on Peter's back deck and caught sight of this across the water.  I don't have a great camera, and this was taken without flash, but I love the whole effect.

I don't want to get into what I love about this image.  (Don't get me wrong--I'm not saying it's a great PHOTO, but I love the image itself.)  It can kind of ruin things sometimes when someone tells you everything they think about something without letting you have the quiet to think about it yourself, if you want.  Here's my view of America.

  7. So ... maybe you can confess what you were thinking. Because now I'm wondering if it was the same thing I was thinking.
