Valentines Ideas and Actualities

I had the brilliant idea that other day to make Valentines cards for our family and the boys' teachers by taking  a photo of them holding a sign that said something cute and Valentine related.  Great idea, right?  The thing is that it's hard to take a photo of two boys in the same frame, much less smiling.  Add in the fact that they need to hold a frame and...well.  You can see.

 Well, one of them is smiling...sort of.

 Here's when Linc stole the sign (and blinked) and then Sawyer cried.

 Ear?

 Soooo close.

We have a winner!!!!  They are both looking at the camera and smiling or almost smiling.  That's better than I could have hoped for.

Here's the final product.  A few dollars at Walgreens later, I had construction paper and some cute photos.  I used photo corners that I already had at home so that people can keep the photo and toss the card.  Oh, and I misspelled Valentines on one of the cards and am totally still giving it out.  Because THAT'S how I roll.
