Christmas Songs, Toddler Edition

My kids enjoyed holiday music this season, mostly due to the musical Sawyer was part of at church. We had a CD of music which had some traditional songs and some just for the musical. We played it (too) often in the car.  I've recently been noticing that they sometimes sing under their breath while playing, almost subconsciously. And they change the words.

To the tune of "We Wish You a Merry Christmas"...

"We'll shoot you until we get some, we'll shoot you until we get some, we'll shoot you until we get some, so bring it right now!"

To the tune of "O Come All Ye Faithful"...

"Oh come, all you robots."

Perhaps nerf guns and Transformers made too big of an impression as Christmas gifts. Next year it will be all puppies and unicorns and double rainbows.
