Homemade Holiday Cards

The holidays may be ending, but how many of you still haven't sent all your cards to friends and family? That's what I thought.  For the record, I hopped out of that game a few years back, so I am pretty much a perpetual holiday card failure.  My mom, being a Virginia transplant, wanted some Texas-themed cards to send out, but couldn't find any.  She bought me a set of blank cards from Michaels and for Christmas, I painted her a set.

First I did pencil drawings, then watercolor, then a pen on top. The armadillo might not be my mom's style, but maybe she'll send that to someone who loves all animals. Or someone she doesn't really like.
